The directors
The Hosen Association was established in response to the events of October 7, out of the understanding that communities along the conflict line require an immediate, professional, and meaningful response. Recognizing this urgent need, Yedidya Fish and Elhanan Maimon took the initiative and founded the organization.
Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen both personal and communal resilience, especially in areas facing ongoing security and emotional challenges 🛡️🌿
One of the pressing gaps we have identified is the lack of therapeutic support for children with special needs.
These incredible children — and their families — often have limited access to consistent emotional and developmental care.
To answer this need, we are launching a Therapeutic Canine Program 🐶✨ Through professionally guided therapy sessions with trained therapy dogs, children will experience:
Emotional support
Confidence building
Improved communication skills
Strengthened self-esteem
A renewed sense of safety and belonging
