Elchanan Maimon, Director of the Association
Elchanan Maimon, a resident of Hinanit, was raised in the Mount Hebron region—an area deeply connected to the roots of Jewish history and the landscapes of the Bible. As the son of an immigrant from France, he grew up with a strong connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel, alongside a deep sense of responsibility for its continuity.
For the past fifteen years, he has dedicated himself to studying Jewish history and to educational guidance. Over the years, he has led thousands of participants from the Diaspora, connecting them to the Israeli story and Jewish identity, and strengthening the bond between Jewish communities worldwide and Israel.
The events of October 7 took on a personal meaning for him when his brother survived the massacre. This experience sharpened his understanding of the urgent need to strengthen frontline communities and transform them into centers of resilience, responsibility, and steadfastness. In his role, Elhanan works to build strong community infrastructures and to lead initiatives that connect values, security, and resilience.
Yedidia Fish – CEO of the Association
Yedidya Fish, born in Beit Shemesh, was raised in a Zionist home by parents who immigrated to Israel out of faith and a deep love for Eretz Israel.
He completed his studies in Shomron and today lives with his family in the community of Hinanit in northern Shomron.
His mission to lead the organization grew out of a personal experience—surviving a terror attack together with his wife during Operation “Guardian of the Walls”—and from a deep understanding, especially since October 7, that frontline communities face urgent needs that are not sufficiently addressed. The reality on the ground strengthened his sense of responsibility to act, support, and build genuine community resilience.
Yedidya views this work as a combination of a Zionist mission, commitment to settlement, and community responsibility. Under his leadership, the association works to provide immediate and meaningful support to communities in need—driven by the belief that local resilience creates broader security for all.
The partners and donors behind this work do more than support—they stand behind pioneering communities, strengthen value-based presence on the ground, and contribute directly to building a safer and more stable future.
