Accessibility Statement
Hosen Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting communities in seamline and border areas through various initiatives and assistance programs.
In this statement, our goal is to improve usability and enhance our services regarding accessibility and equal rights for people with disabilities.
Our accessibility adjustments were implemented in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Services), 2013, at AA compliance level, subject to modifications and adaptations made under the Israeli Standard requirements.
Accessibility compatibility has been tested on the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, and Edge.
Accessibility Features Available on the Website
- Support for all common standard browsers (such as Chrome, Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Mozilla)
- Website content is written in clear language using readable fonts
- Website structure is built using headings, paragraphs, and lists
- Easy and convenient navigation with accessible and clear menus
- Clear links explaining their destination before clicking
- Skip-to-content links at the beginning of pages
- Text descriptions for images and icons for assistive technologies
- Responsive adaptation for different screen resolutions
- Play and pause controls for video galleries
- ARIA rules have been implemented to improve interpretation and accessibility of website content
- Accessibility adjustments for menus, forms, fields, heading hierarchy, tab components, popups, and more
Display Adjustments on the Website
- Users may enlarge or reduce the website display using the “CTRL” key together with the mouse wheel, or by pressing “CTRL” with the “+” or “-” keys. Each action changes the display size by approximately 10%.
- Font size can also be adjusted באמצעות the accessibility menu available on the website.
- Users who do not have a mouse or cannot use one may navigate the website using the “TAB” key. Each press moves the cursor to the next available element on the page.
- Pressing the “Enter” key activates the selected link.
- The website does not contain flashing, flickering, or automatically moving content. Where such content exists, it can be paused by hovering with the mouse and clicking, or by navigating with the “TAB” key and pressing “Enter”.
Compatibility for Users with Visual and Hearing Disabilities
- Basic screen magnifiers (resolution enlargement)
- Voice recognition software
- Built-in voice recognition tools provided by operating systems
Accessibility Limitations
The website management makes every effort to ensure that all displayed pages are accessible. However, some pages may not yet be fully accessible, or an appropriate technological solution may not yet exist. In addition, third-party advertisements uploaded by external advertisers may not always provide complete accessibility compliance.
